Joaquín Poquet Moreno
Licenciado en Bellas Artes y Máster en Gestión Cultural
Su trayectoria profesional en el ámbito cultural comenzó a principios de los años noventa en las salas de exposiciones de la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia y en el IVAM, y ha evolucionado de forma continua hasta abarcar la gestión institucional, la conservación técnica, el diseño museográfico y la consultoría estratégica.
Durante más de quince años dirigió equipos técnicos especializados en la manipulación, embalaje, transporte, montaje e instalación de obras de arte para museos, administraciones e instituciones de la Comunitat Valenciana y del ámbito nacional. Esta experiencia acumulada en el terreno —en proyectos de alta complejidad patrimonial, con obras de instituciones como el Museo del Prado— es el fundamento diferencial de su perfil: el conocimiento de cómo funciona una colección, una exposición o un museo desde dentro.
Progresivamente amplió su ámbito de actuación hacia la gestión cultural integral, el diseño de discursos museográficos y la planificación estratégica de instituciones. Entre enero de 2016 y mayo de 2018 dirigió la puesta en marcha y gestión del Museo Catedral de Valencia, diseñando e implantando su Plan General de Gestión desde cero, coordinando su apertura en junio de 2016 y asumiendo la responsabilidad sobre sus ocho planes institucionales: catalogación de más de 1.500 bienes muebles, museografía y conservación, personal, mantenimiento, seguridad, difusión, publicaciones y ventas.
Desde 2016 desarrolla ArtCare Consulting, consultora especializada en gestión cultural, financiación pública y patrimonio, con la que asesora a entidades, administraciones y promotores culturales en la viabilidad, el diseño y la ejecución de proyectos.
